Evelyn Ruth Fry of Durham, formerly of Hanover and Chesley, passed away at Hanover & District Hospital on Friday, August 26, 2022, in her 87th year.
Loving mother of Elaine (Robert) Gowing of R.R. #3 Elmwood, Jo-Anne Ireland of Walkerton, Kathy (James) Hachey of Owen Sound, and Les (Angela) Fry of R.R. #2 Desboro. Loving grandmother of Robert, Christopher (Laura), Michele (Kevin), Shane (Sharon), Kevin (Connie), Kim (Rob), Crystal (Mark), Kyle, and Dillon. She will be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren Madison, Marcus (Samantha), Anthony, Brianna, Tait, Charles, Joseph, Russell, Audrey-Emma, Kayla, Owen, Bailey, Logan, Sawyer, Allie, and great-great-grandchildren Kaden and Adam. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her siblings, Mildred Peterson, James Bryan, Marion Hook, Kenny (Leona) Bryan, and John (Terry) Bryan as well as by her sister-in-law Linda Bryan. She was predeceased by her husbands Joseph Ireland (1960), Anson Fry (1999), brothers William, Keith, and Gary, and her parents William Leslie and Elsie (Butler) Bryan.
A private inurnment honouring Evelyn’s life will be held at Mount Tegart Cemetery, Totttenham.
