Evan Muir Savoy, husband of Sarah Savoy of Burnt Church Road NB, passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022 at his late residence, at the age of 69.
Born in Burnt Church NB, he was the son of the late Gordon and Jean (Cassidy) Savoy. He was retired from NB Power, a member of the United Church and a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 47, Tabusintac.
Besides his wife Sarah, he is survived by one daughter Cynthia Joe (Marcel) of Burnt Church, two sons, Shannon Savoy (Sherry) of Burnt Church and Sheldon Savoy (Tracey) of Burnt Church, two sisters, Carolyn of Edmonton and Cheryl of Ireland, two brothers, Graham of Halifax and Charles of Burnt Church, seven grandchildren, Courteney, Chloë, Jenna, Carly, Rylan, Venessa and Madison, one great grandchild Savannah and his loyal companions Kate, Ellie and Willow.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister Valerie and one brother Robert (Uncle Bob).
At the request of the family there will be no visitation. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday January 18, at 11 a.m. at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Sandy Sutherland officiating. Burial will be in Burnt Church Union Cemetery in the spring.
In memory of Evan, donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Tabusintac or NB Extra Mural Program would be appreciated by the family.
