In Loving Memory
Mrs. Eva McMillan of Simcoe, formerly of Hawtrey, passed away at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in her 89th year. Eva loved to sew and was very talented. She loved making pillows and her Lollipop kids (dolls). She love to make cakes for peoples birthdays. Her favourite to make was Angle food cakes with campfire icing. Eva was an animal lover. Rescuing any that needed help. She would do anything for her grandkids and great grandkids. She loved her little dog Benji, the two of them did almost everything together. Former Eva Roxey Hudson. Beloved wife of the Late John McMillan (1981). Loving mother of Joan Tewes (Late Karl, 2008), Jack McMillan (Andrea) and Wayne McMillan. Cherished grandmother of Melinda Howard, Jason Tewes (Melissa), Jacklynn Ryder (Jason) and Elise Duyvestijn (Kurt) and great-grandmother of Wayne, Makayla , Georgia , Tessa, Johnny, Eleanor, Wade and Harvey. Dearest sister-in-law of Barbara Hudson. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her two brothers: Paul Hudson (2015) (Late Dolores, 1974) and Ernie Hudson (2004). In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Funeral Service will be held with Interment in Our Lady of LaSalette R.C. Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Norview Lodge (Resident Activity Fund) will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
