Eva Pearl MacDonald
It is with great sadness that the family of Eva Pearl MacDonald announces her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center in Harbour Breton on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, age 98 years of Hermitage, formerly of Piccaire.
Pearl leaves to mourn her loving family: daughters, Caroline (John Dollimont) at Halifax, NS, Eva (Ray Bungay) at Harbour Breton, Meta MacDonald at Hermitage, Lucy (Clayton Crewe) at Bonavista, Lora (Ward Hollett) at Hermitage, Madge (Reginald Young) at Appleton, Bernice MacDonald at Foxtrap and Doris (Calvin Symes) at Red Deer, AB; sons, George (Linda) at Foxtrap, Gerald (Gloria) at Bay Roberts and Hubert (Tracey) at Calgary, AB; twenty-nine grandchildren, forty-nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Samuel; daughter, Lydia; son, John; sister, Mabel Smith; brothers, Loyal, George and Gerald Coombs.
Visitation will take place at St. Saviour’s Haven at Hermitage from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, February 3, 2022 and from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, February 4, 2022. Masks and Vax Passes are required.
Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 11:00 am from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery at Hermitage-Sandyville. Masks and Vax Passes are required.
