Eva M. McCrum (Lord) of Clarence Ridge passed peacefully on
Thursday, March 10, 2022, surrounded by family at Passamaquoddy Lodge
in St. Andrews, NB.
Eva grew up in Elmsville, daughter of the late John and Ethel
(Monohan) Lord. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband of 62 years, Keith McCrum, and their daughter Marina, as well
as her four siblings, Jimmy, Donald, Merwyn and Gail.
Eva will be devastatingly missed by her family – her sister,
Ann (Maurice) ; her children, Dale (Sandra), Larry (Tanya), Charles
(Tammi), and Dianna (Morris) ; her grandchildren, Christina (Adam),
Amanda (George), Mary-Jo (Dana), Jason (Lisa), Katie (Nick), Joey
(Rebecca), Rusty (Kelsey), Scott, Sarah (Jarrod), Kayla (Joshua), and
Marina (Courtney) and chosen granddaughter, Tasha McCrum ; seventeen
great-grandchildren, with one on the way, and one
great-great-granddaughter.
Eva was known at the Saint Andrew’s market for her
delicious baked goods and for always having the best blueberry stash.
She worked at the tuna plant (Starkist) until it closed in 1985, and
then retired from the Fundy Nursing Home, where her hard work and
dedication was always admired. Eva loved to play and spend time with
her dear friends at the bingo hall. She will be missed by many in the
community, and her legacy will live on through Charlotte County, and
beyond.
Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son
funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. on Monday, March
14, 2022 at 2 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on
Monday March 14, 2022 from 12 pm- 2 pm.
Interment at Rolling Dam Cemetery, Rolling Dam,
NB.
