Eva LeBlanc 1929 2022

Eva LeBlanc, 93, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday June 28,
2022 at the Hospice Albert House. Born in Baie-Sainte-Anne, she was
the daughter of the late Evé and Obéline
(Turbide) Thériault.
Prior to her retirement, Eva was a cook at École
St-Henri. She was a founding member of the Club
d’Âge d’Or
Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, as well as member of Femmes
Chrétiennes and Dames Chevalières in
Parkton.
She is survived by four children: Patricia LeBlanc (Jean-Yves
Haché), Jean (Kathleen Carroll), George (Lorna Keays) and
Rachelle LeBlanc, all of Moncton; four grandchildren: Yves, Luc,
Véronique (Alex Chevarie) and Isabelle; as well as many
nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate
family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Normand (2003); and six siblings: Avilda, Marie-Louise, Antoine,
Léo, Gérard and Estelle.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and
Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) where the
funeral service will be celebrated on Monday July 4 at 11 am. Visiting
hours are Sunday from 7 to 9 pm only. Face coverings are
recommended. The funeral service will be streamed live; to view the
funeral, go to her obituary on our Website. Interment will be at Our
Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe. In memory of Eva, a contribution
to Hospice SENB (Albert House) would be appreciated.

  1. My deepest sympathy to the family of Eva. I met Eva back when she was dating Normand. I lived in Beaumont NB and they came to visit my parents as my father was Normand’s cousin. My uncle played the fiddle and my mother played the piano and they also came to enjoy the music.
