  1. While looking for another obituary for Dawson Creek I came across Mrs. Minchau. Well Randy I am sorry for your loss. I really liked your mother when I lived in Dawson Creek many years ago. You will not remember me but you were friends with my son Stephen Dewald in the little Salvation Army youth group until the death of Stephen in January 1976. I hope life has treated you well. I remember your sister Rae coming to our farm quite often on a Sunday after church. I now live on Prince Edward Island but Dawson Creek will always by my Canadian home. I never called your mother by her first name. To me she was always Mrs. Minchau.
