Keuhl, Ethel – passed away peacefully at Riverview Heights, on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in her 98th year.
Ethel Keuhl (nee Mick) of Pembroke, wife of the late Eldon Keuhl. Mother of Murray Keuhl, Rankin and Dwight Keuhl (Joanne Brown), Golden BC. Sister of Omer Mick (Mary), Orillia and Sam Mick (Maude), Peterborough. Predeceased by brother Murray Mick (late Marilyn). Daughter of the late William & Isabel Mick (nee Cossar). Survived by many nieces & nephews.
Respecting Ethel’s wishes, her body has been donated to the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine. A celebration of Ethel’s life will be held at Calvin United Church, Pembroke on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Respecting COVID protocols at Calvin United Church, a mask is required to be worn in their facilities when not seated. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Pembroke Regional Hospital Cancer Care Campaign, St. Joseph’s Food Bank, Dementia Society of Ottawa & Renfrew County or Carefor to support their transportation program would be appreciated.   1. My sympathies to Ethel’s family. She was my grade 6 teacher, many years ago. Her happy, pleasant way of making learning interesting and enjoyable for her pupils, left an impression on me and helped to inspire me to become a teacher too!
    A very special lady who will be remembered by many.
