Peacefully, on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at her home in Port Perry, at age 81. Ethel (nee Danahy), beloved wife of Angus Cameron Richard. Loving mother of Gerry and his wife Kathy of Midhurst, Cheryl and her husband Richard of North Bay and Kevin and his wife Grace of Toronto. Loved grandmother of Terina, Danielle, Aiyana and Danica and great grandmother of Raine, Sophia and Rylen. Predeceased by all of her siblings.
The family of Ethel Richard will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, “McDermott‑Panabaker Chapel”, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985‑2171) on Tuesday, March 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry, ON, L9L 1E2 on Wednesday, March 30, at 10:00 a.m. In memory of Ethel, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham.
