1937-2022
Wednesday, November 30th, 2022, at the
Manoir de la Vallée of Atholville, at the age of 85, passed
away Mrs. Ethel Savoie of Campbellton. She was the daughter of the
late Marguerite (born Breau) and the late Wilmer
Savoy.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Bernard (Wendy
LePoidvin) of Campbellton, Lise (Jean-Guy Fontaine) of Dundee, Lyne
(Hervé Bujold) of Tide Head, Gilles (Maureen Comeau) of
Grand Barachois and Serge (Kim Surette) of Shediac; her grandchildren:
Jacob, Nicholas, Emmanuelle, Jean Philippe, Justin, Rémi,
Erik, Emily, Ainsley, Simon and Thomas; her great
grandchildren : Noah, Boden, Mable Rose, Ellie and
Ève; her brothers and sisters : Millie, Leonard,
Douglas, Wilmer “Joe”, Sarah, Irma, Janie, Ivan and Bernice
also by many sister in-laws, brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, and
friends.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers and
sisters: Eugene, Martina, John “Jack”, Muriel, Charlotte
“Tuny”, Bernard, Zeph and Anthony.
Funeral mass will be held in the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges
Church, Campbellton, on Monday, December 5th at
4:00 pm. Mrs. Ethel Savoie will rest at Savoie Funeral Home, situated
at 47 Alexander St., Campbellton, on Monday, December
5th, from 02:00 pm till time of funeral. The
family wishes to thank all the employees from the Manoir de la
Vallée and the Restigouche Extra-Mural Program. A donation
to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation would be greatly appreciated
by the family.
