Obituary
Doctor Esther Rena Grimm peacefully entered into her reward in Owen Sound, Ontario on Sunday, August 21st, 2022 at the age of 80 years. She was born on December 26th, 1941 in Toronto, Ontario to Russell and Gladys Shearer and married Gunther “John” Grimm of Toronto, Ontario on October 8th, 1960. Esther was a devoted wife, a caring mother of her children, and a loving “Oma” to six grandchildren. Esther and John Grimm were on the missions field to Brazil for 25 years with the United Pentecostal Church International.
Esther is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, John Grimm. She was the proud mother of Calvin Johann Grimm (Missy) of Johnson City, Tennessee, USA, Nelson Rolf Grimm of High River, Alberta and Marvin Shawn Grimm of Holland Centre, Ontario. Dear sister of Russell Paul Shearer (Eva) of Scarborough, Ontario, David Ray Shearer of Ottawa, Ontario, and Sharon Lou Shearer of Stellarton, Nova Scotia. Esther is loved and remembered by her grandchildren Matthew Johann Grimm, Carrie Elaine Sutton (Shea), Jordan Rolf Grimm, Jason Johann Grimm, Justin Shawn Grimm and Josiah Henrique Grimm.
