With heavy hearts, the family of Essie Cadwell announce her passing on Monday, January 31, 2022 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander.
Essie, age 70 years of Flat Island, NL is survived by her only son, Harry Junior Cadwell, daughter-in-law Charlene Cadwell, grandchildren Kaytie Gammon, Kyle Gammon, Payton Gammon, Nathan Brand and Jesslyn Cadwell. Sisters Rose Troke (Gus Troke), Val Crewe (Aus Crewe) and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by parents Roland and Hannah Chaytor (Crocker) and sister Nancy Troke (John Troke) and her beloved friend Ron Crocker.
We were not ready to say goodbye. God had a different plan and as we struggle to accept this tremendous loss, we take comfort knowing she was welcomed home with open arms by her loved ones gone before her.
She will be remembered for her quick wit, radiant smile, her laugh and sense of humour.
Forever loved, forever missed, Essie truly was the epitome of a beautiful soul.
Visitation being held at St. Alban’s Church, Burnside 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Wednesday February 2, 2022.
Funeral by invitation only Thursday February 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Alban’s Church, Burnside.
Donations may be made in Essie’s memory to ST. Alban’s Church.
