Errol Myles Perry 19472022

Errol Myles Perry
1947-2022
It’s with great sadness that we announce the
passing of Errol Perry on March 7, in Charlottetown, PEI, at the age
of 75.
Errol was born in Bristol, PEI, to John Joe and Mae
Perry. He worked with his father as a lobster fisherman in his
university days. He graduated from the University of PEI in 1970 with
a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then joined the Navy, becoming
an Officer. He then earned a degree in Social Work and
continued in that field for over 35 years. He was a
colourful fellow who was passionate about helping
others in their time of need.
Errol enjoyed
being on the ocean, in a recreation fishing boat,
with friends and family. He had a great love of
animals and was often accompanied on his adventures with his loyal
dog, and a couple of cats waiting for him at home.
Errol
is survived by his sisters Daphne (Walter) MacAdam of Morrell, PEI;
Dale (John) MacLean of Halifax, NS; and brother Carl (Donna) Perry of
Kelowna, BC; and many nieces and nephews, and their families scattered
across Canada.
A memorial service will be announced at a
later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to
the Canadian Liver Foundation or the PEI Humane Society. Online
condolences can be made at www.islandowned.ca
The family would like to thank the staff at Queen Elizabeth
Hospital for their care during his illness.
