Ernie Goguen 19322022

Ernie Goguen
1932-2022
Ernie Goguen of the Moncton Residence and formerly of
Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on July 23, 2022 after
a lengthy illness and dementia.
Ernie is survived by his daughter-in-law Janet Goguen,
sisters-in-law: Debbie (Brian) Carter, Eva MacLean, Kay Price and
their extended family. Also to mourn, is his niece Cathy (Trevor)
Robson and his special friend Vivian Steeves.
Besides his parents Mary Ann (Roy) and Edmond Goguen, Ernie
was predeceased by his spouse of 52 years Phyllis Goguen (2010), their
only son Todd (2017), brother Fred Goguen and sisters Alma and Irene
Goguen.
Ernie was a man with many talents and interests. He Enjoyed
spending time with friends and family over the years at their camp on
Flint Hill. Ernie loved a project, no matter the size or scope of it,
especially if he was the “boss”.
For his entire working career, he worked at MacDonald Buick
where he lived his passion. Even during his final days he was still
hustling selling cars. He and his long time friend Doug MacDonald
worked together through the years doing what they
loved.
His cheeky smile and his drop in visits will be missed by
all.
Thank you to the staff at the Moncton Residence, Victoria
Wing, for caring for Ernie for the past few years, The Moncton
Hospital Palliative Care for your kindness as well as Dr. Arsenault
and Dr. Mansfield for your guidance.
The family will be receiving friends and relative at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 6:00
– 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
