Paisiblement auprès de sa famille, Ernest Brisson de Moose Creek, nous a quitté jeudi, le 17 février, 2022 à l’âge de 92 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil sa femme Ghislaine Brisson (née Michaud). Ses enfants Gisèle Broadhead (Ken), Claude (feu Francine Desnoyers 2009) (Sylvie), Rénarde (Jocelyne), Carole Collin (Charlie), Robert, André (Karen), Camille Trépanier (Denise). Il laisse également dans le deuil ses petits-enfants Nicole, Christine, Eric, Philippe, Isabelle, Marc, Vincent, Danielle, Martin, Éric, Julie, Joël, Emmanuelle, Pierre, Alain, Guy, Véronique et Alexandre. Et également ses 18 arrières petits-enfants ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux. Prédécédé par ses parents, Albert (1966), Amanda (née Aubin) Brisson (1989), son frère Alexandre (1967), sa sœur Léona Lafrance (2011). Également sa femme de 56 ans Anita (née Lefebvre) (2007), deuxième épouse Réjeanne Décoste (Lajoie) (2009) et sa fille Agathe Bonneville (Keith) (2013). Il fût un membre honoraire des Chevaliers de Colomb conseil #755 et Assemblée Bishop Brodeur #0877. Il a été un employé devoué pour Domtar pendant 25 années. Toute sa vie durant, il a été un membre actif pour sa communauté et sa paroisse de Notre-Dame-des-Anges à Moose Creek, en participant aux nombreuses tâches reliées à celle-ci, il était surnommé le «Bishop ». Les messe funérailles privées seront célébrées à l’église Notre-Dame-des-Anges à Moose Creek. Les masques et la distanciation physique sont obligatoires lors de tous les rassemblements. La famille demande plutôt que d’apporter des fleurs, de faire une donation à la fondation du Manoir de Maxville, ceci serait très apprécié par la famille. Arrangement funéraire sous le direction de Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 rue Main Sud, Maxville (613-527-2898). En homage à Ernest, un arbre sera planté dans ‘memory woods’. Peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the Cornwall Community Hospital. He was 92. He is survived by his wife Ghislaine Brisson (née Michaud). Loving father of Gisèle Broadhead (Ken), Claude (late Francine Desnoyers 2009), (Sylvie), Rénarde (Jocelyne), Carole Collin (Charlie), Robert, André Brisson (Karen), Camille Trépanier (Denise). Proud grandfather of Nicole, Christine, Eric, Philippe, Isabelle, Marc, Vincent, Danielle, Martin, Éric, Julie, Joël, Emmanuelle, Pierre, Alain, Guy, Véronique, Alexandre. Also survived by (18) great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Albert (1966), Amanda (née Aubin) Brisson (1989), his brother Alexandre (1967), his sister Léona Lafrance (2011). Also, his wife of 56 years Anita (Lefebvre) (2007), second wife Réjeanne Décoste (Lajoie) (2009) and his daughter Agathe Bonneville (Keith) (2013). An Honorary Life member of the Knights of Columbus Council #755 and Bishop Brodeur Assembly #0877. Also, a former employee of Domtar in Cornwall for 25 years. He was a dedicated community and church member, volunteered for decades and was known as “The Bishop” at Our Lady of the Angels in Moose Creek, ON. A private funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Angles church in Moose Creek. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. As expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., Maxville, Ontario, 613-527-2898. As a memorial to Ernest, a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
