Gone to be with the Angels Friday, March 11, 2022 surrounded by his loving family Eric Gregory Rose of Arnold’s Cove Station, aged 82. Predeceased by wife of 61 years Lena Rose (nee Slade),parents Walter and Annie Rose, parents in law Malcom and Louisa Slade, sisters Sadie Best (Harold), Marie Downey (Frank), brothers Frances (Norma), George, Perry (Eileen), Gerald, sisters in law Stella Boutcher (Llewellyn), Hilda Waine (Richard), Ada Barron Collett, and Violet Slade (Clem). Left with fond and loving memories daughters Juanita Hickey (Eugene), Sherry Pendergast (Tom), Bonnie Rose (Ron), sons Eric Glen Rose (Marina), Ross Rose, Roger Rose (Brenda), six grandchildren Chris Pendergast (Michelle), Jocelyn Hickey, Jared Rose (Brittany), Skyler Rose, Ryan Adams, Sean Benoit, two great grandchildren Jack Pendergast, Lena Pendergast, sisters in law Anita Rose, Helen Rose, brothers in law Berkley Slade (Ettie), Rev. Lloyd Collett. As well as a large circle of extended family, friends and special Godchild Valerie Barron Warren. The family would like to thank the Hilltop Manor and staff for the care they gave their dad in the last two years, he thought the world of each of them. Thanks as well to the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their exceptional care. Visitation to take place from Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnold’s Cove on Wednesday, March 16, 2020 from 2-4 & and 7-9 P.M. and Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-8 P.M. In keeping with COVID regulations masks will be required for the visitation. Donations in his memory may be made to the SPCA . Flowers will also be accepted.
