Obituary
MULDER, Eric Jan “Chefy” – Passed away peacefully, on January 13, 2022, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, at the age of 65 years young. Born to Ludy-bert and Maria Mulder in Den Häag, the Netherlands, in 1956. He moved to Canada in 1978, to pursue dream of becoming a chef.
Eric is survived by his loving wife Marion Mulder, children Grace Barber-Meyer and Marie Barber, son-in-law Scott Meyer, siblings Monique, Ludy and Marcel, grandchildren Haley, Nathan and Lauren, nieces Denise, Rowena, Lindsey, and Cheyenne. Brother-in-law to Ken and Sharon, Bev and Terry, Rick, Gerwin, and many more.
Eric was a mentor and teacher to so many people. Sharing all his skills and tricks, he guided as many people as possible, or students, that would cross his path. Having a father like him is rare. He would do anything for you one minute and put you in place the next. Nothing could ever replace his seller and something corny personality. He will always be loved and deeply missed. We will be holding a Celebration of Life, at a later date, and will inform everyone later on.
