Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Emma Maud Burton on Sunday, December 4th, 2022 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 80 years.
She leaves to mourn: daughter Joan (Eugene); sons: Larry, Terry (Nicole), Sonny (Ann), Ricky (Pamela), Keith, Dwayne (Charlie), and Ardie (Joanne); brothers: Curtis, Richard (Jayne), and Nath; sisters: Gladys and Stella; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 fur babies: Letty and Luna; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Emma was predeceased by: spouse Archibald Delaney; husband Percy Burton; parents Julia and Alfred Childs; brothers: George, Clyde, and Fred; sisters: Margreta, Lorraine, and Joan; and great granddaughter Annabelle.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 6th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM at Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 7th at 2:00 PM from Russell’s Funeral Home Chapel.
