Peacefully at home surrounded and comforted by her three daughters, on June 10, 2022 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by her parents Margaret and George Poliak. Loving wife of the late John Sumka. Loving mother of Susan (Michael Osowsky), Joanne (Andrij Hucal), and Sharon (Terry Alderson). Proud and loving grandma of Emily, Paulina, Ava, Cash, Olivia, and Otis. Will be dearly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and great friends.
Visitation will be held at Newediuk Funeral Home – Kipling Chapel, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke, on Tuesday, June 14th from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or UNICEF – Ukraine Relief Fund.
