Emily “Eula”‘s Obituary
ENSLOW, Emily Eulalee “Eula” – 85 of West Green Harbour passed away suddenly in Halifax on Tuesday April 5, 2022. She was the youngest of twelve children to parents Guerdon Farrington and Winnifred Rae (Benham) Buchanan. Eula was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who had a special place in her heart for grandson Aaron. She will be deeply missed by her family.
She loved to cook and bake and in her earlier years she enjoyed quilting and knitting. Eula’s knitted socks can be found all over the county and even in overseas countries as she used to send her knitted goods in the church boxes every November.
Left to mourn are her children; Tammy, Paul (Rhonda), grandchild Aaron and Joanna (whom she thought of as her own grandchild), sister, Sylvia Cameron and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Leroy Sydney Enslow, and brothers; Walter, Guerd, Reg, Arthur, Nathan and Edward (in infancy), sisters; Hester, Edith, Elva and Beatrice (in infancy).
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. A visitation will take place Friday April 8th from 7-9 pm and the funeral will be Saturday April 9th at 2:30 pm all from the Harbour Light Pentecostal Church in East Green Harbour. Burial to follow the service at the West Green Harbour Anglican Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Harbour Light Church or the Roseway Hospital new X-ray fund.
