With immense sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Emiko Ebisuzaki.
She passed peacefully at her home with her son, Gerald, and her sister, Nancy, by her side. Beloved wife of the late Professor Kaney Ebisuzaki. Beloved mother of Gerald, the late Raymond, and Wesley. Dear mother-in-law of Minako and Su. Very proud grandmother to Sean, Christy and Benjamin. She was the loved daughter of Guntaro and Kikuye. Beloved sister to Nancy, Barbara, Barry, Stan, Frances and Marion; predeceased by siblings Sumiko, Yuriko, Mitsuko, and Akira (Spud).
Emiko was a proud mother and enjoyed raising three sons. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Archaeology at the University of Western Ontario. In addition, she was an accomplished potter, enjoyed embroidery, knitting and bowling. Kaney and Emiko enjoyed traveling and visiting many European art galleries and museums in addition to the Aztec ruins.
Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., where a Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. A livestream of the service will be available for those that are unable to attend in person.
