Obituary of Elwin Orville Seeley
Elwin “Al” Orville Seeley was born in Nipawin, Saskatchewan to Raymond Willian Seeley and Edith Cavelle McCaw. Al Seeley enjoyed a successful career with Scott National (Calgary) and retired with his wife (Jackie) to BC’s Columbia Valley which has been home ever since. Al was a brilliant man who loved his family dearly.
He was a builder, outdoorsman, and number one fan of his wife’s art career. There were many years of camping, hiking, and fishing with the boys which has fostered a love for the outdoors. Dad has been a model of strength and inspiration to his family and any who were fortunate enough to know Al. The clear heritage provided to his family includes love, courage and strength.
Al is survived by his dear wife of 65 years, Jacqueline Esther Seeley, sons Mitchell (Deborah), and Brent, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brother Mervin and sister Valerie.
He was predeceased by his son Allan.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff of Invermere Hospital, as well as home care support for their excellent care and compassion during this difficult time.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
