It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Elva Rose Price. Loving wife of the late Lionel. Cherished mother of Pam Sliwinski, Brenda MacLellan(Dan), and the late Wayne. Dear sister of Lois Gray and the late Ruby Freeman. Mom will be missed by her grandchildren Wayne(Carolynn), Jason(Bonnie), Matthew(Tasha), the late Philip MacLellan, and her great grandchildren Josh(Chelsea), Dan, Nicole(Khadyn), Zakery(Jen), Christian, Aliyah, Kora, Mason, Rykker, and great great grandchildren Jude and Brooks. She will also be missed by her good friends Marg, Pearl, Vera and many family, friends, nieces, and nephews. Elva was a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed attending all their sporting events, playing cards, and lunches with her friends. Mom was an avid leafs fan. A special thanks to all the wonderful staff at St. Peter’s Hospital for their constant care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (Between Mohawk and Fennell) on Wednesday December 28, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday December 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
