Obituary
Elsa was very shy, humble, kind and quiet. She always had short stories to tell and it was usually a funny one. She loved to clean and do laundry but she mostly loved helping at the churches. She would go for walks to pick berries and sweet grass. Elsa was loved by many, family and friends, and she loved them all. She will be dearly missed. The memories we have will carry us through. She was a very kind and loving soul. Elsa had 2 close friends, Mary Waskewitch and Elaine Fox. They called each other ‘sister.’ Elsa will be sadly missed at the church where she was an active volunteer.
She is survived by: her sisters, Christina (Freddie) and Eva (Elmer); her children and step-children, Geraldine (Craig), Anthony, Darcy, Albertine, Amanda (Mitchell), Larissa, Russell Naistus and Marvina Naistus; her several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and her numerous nephews and nieces.
Elsa is predeceased by: her father, Frank Cook (1965); her mother, Veronique Vivier (1970); her sister, Rema Cook (2018); her brothers, John Cook (1990), Gilbert Cook (2001) and Andrew Cook (2016); her daughter, Vera Cook (2012); and her granddaughters, Nethania Cook (2009) and Amberli Champagne (2009).
