Ellen “Ellie”‘s Obituary
Patriquin, Ellen “Ellie”- 76, Greenville Stn., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 18, 2022, at the Cumberland Regional Heath Care Centre, Amherst. Born in Pugwash, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Lena (Moody) Demings. Ellie had worked at Eaton’s in Moncton; then with Canada Post for over 30 years and later at the East Cumberland Lodge in Pugwash. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, Silver Spray #1 and a member of the Wallace River Baptist Church. Ellie enjoyed socializing, singing, and doing crafts. She loved children, her family and the Lord. She is survived by her loving husband, Alvin Patriquin and their fur daughter, Sarah; step children, Denise (Dan) Allen, Amherst, Todd Patriquin (Julie Forbes), North River; step grandchildren, Kennedy, Austin, Aiden, Jeremy and Brandon; siblings, Joan Colborne, Pugwash, Jim (Janine) Demings, Middleboro, Donnie Demings, Oxford and Jane Jorgenson, Wallace Bay,; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Lila Hollis, Julia Sisson and Barbara Bonnyman. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday, July 20, with the funeral service at 2 pm Thursday, July 21, all in Mundle’s Funeral Home, Pugwash. Rev. Chris Greer officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Wallace River Baptist Church.
