Obituary of Elizabeth Billings
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth (Jessie) Billings announce her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre on July 9th, 2022, at the age of 83 years.
Leaving to mourn her husband of over 63 years, Ben, her children: Scott (Debbi), Otto (Diane), Goodwin (Daphne), Geraldine (Gary Peyton), Perry (Althea), Tina (Ron Pardy). Grandchildren: Krista (Cory), Gary (Shannon), Kerri Ann (Shane), Graham (Kelley) Erica (The late Todd), Krystal (Bradly), Benjamin, Shania (Jay), Tanner (Danielle), and her 9 great Grandchildren.
Also mourning are her siblings: David (Anna), Wayde (Deloris), Dennis ( Paula), Juanita (Calvin Cooper), Bramwell (Heidi); Brothers and sisters in law: Margaret Earle, Victor (Ivy) Billings, Patsy Billings, Vera Kane, Alonzo Hynes as well as many other family and friends.
Jessie is pre-deceased by her Father: William Earle, Mother: Harriett Rowsell, Step Father: David Rowsell Sr, Brother: Samuel Earle, foster parents: Samuel and Doris (Dot) Wall, Parents- in- Law George and Priscilla Billings, Brothers and sisters- in-law: Wilfred (Ann) Billings, Verna (Bert) Loveys, Dorothy (Nelson) Gillingham, Truman (Rowena), John and Ford Billings, Ethel Hynes, Don Warren and James Kane.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre for their care and kindness during Jessie’s final days, as well as all those individuals who have expressed their care and concern for us all through visits, phone calls, E-mails, or texts during this time.
The family has requsted that masks be worn at all visitations and the funreal service. Concluding the service the burial will take place at the 7 Day adventist cemetery in Cottrell’s Cove.
Pallbearers will be Scott Billings, Otto Billings , Goodwin Billings, Geraldine Peyton, Perry Billings, Tina Pardy.
