Obituary of Elizabeth Jane Copeman
COPEMAN, Elizabeth Jane, of Stratford, formerly of Port Dover, passed away at Victoria Hospital London on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, in her 69th year. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Virginia Copeman of Stratford and Debbie and Mike Saunders of Port Dover. Cherished aunt of Alexis Copeman of Milton, Meaghan MacDonald (Josh) of Port Dover, Haley Saunders (Mike) of Port Dover, Lee Copeman of Port Dover and Michael Sauders of San Francisco. Loving great-aunt of Rowan, Peyton and Hunter MacDonald. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Barbara Copeman and brother, Dick Copeman. Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her furry baby, Armani the cat, who she loved dearly. Elizabeth was an accomplished writer with several published works. Her career with the Stratford Festival Theater spanned 30 years, starting as a seamstress and working her way up to Head of Wardrobe. She was known by her family and friends as a genuinely kind and caring person who always put other people ahead of herself. Elizabeth was quick witted and had a great sense of humour.
