Webber, Elizabeth Sarah “Betty”
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital – Freeport Site on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the age of 78.
Beloved wife of Ken Flynn and the late Michael Richard Webber (2004). Loving mother of Deborah Webber-Blanke (Patrick), Mark Webber (predeceased 2015) and Mike Webber (Sara). Proud “Gam Gam” of Jesse (Christianne), Alexandra (Ryan), Joshua (Ashley), and Max (Samantha) and great-grandmother of Rowan, Isabelle, Miller, Nash, Lively and George. Dear sister of Maggie Byers, Alan Byers (predeceased 2022) and Lynne Ashby (Chris). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. She will be sadly missed by her extended family in England.
Elizabeth had a successful career with Citizenship and Immigration Canada as a Senior Immigration Officer. She went on to open the doors of WW Immigration Services in 1995, where she assisted hundreds of families settle in Canada during her distinguished career.
Private cremation arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. A public gathering to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
