September 17, 1938 ~ November 29, 2022
Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre in the presence of her family at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband Don and her daughter Heather. Survived by her children Keith (Patricia) and Susan (Shawn). She will be missed by her grandchildren Mandy, Jay, Dustin (Rachel), Kelsey (David), Krysta (Aaron), Shauna (Will) and Melissa (Kevin) and ten great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her brother George Mitchell (Eleanor).
Elizabeth was a long-term member and supporter of St. James United Church and numerous other support organizations. Cremation has taken place and there will be a private interment at a later date at Elizabeth’s request.
A special thank you to the staff of Applewood Retirement Residence and the Palliative Care Unit at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Donations to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
