Obituary
With sadness, we announce the passing of ELIZABETH DARLEEN MISCH (LEBLANC) 74, died on Tuesday, 4th October, 2022 at Bobby’s Hospice after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born July 4th, 1948 in Saint John, NB to Sonny and Doreen Leblanc.
Known to family and friends as Betty, she had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She was feisty when she needed to be and at other times, high-spirited.
Betty worked at Lakefield Elementary and eventually retired knowing that she would be missed. She raised 2 children, Freddie Misch and Ruthie Whittaker. She is survived by her children and her brothers.
Special thanks to the staff at Saint John Regional Hospital, K.V. Extramural and Bobby’s Hospice for their wonderful care. As well, thank you to Ann, Jackie, Marie, Tanya, Sabrina and Rob for everything you did for Betty. Betty’s final resting place will be St. Joseph’s Cemetery with her sisters.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).
As per her wishes, no visitation or funeral service will take place at this time.
