It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom and Gramma Elizabeth (Betty) Bernadette Thompson nee Cavanaugh on December 26, 2022 at the age of 85.
Mom had a massive stroke on December 15 and in spite of her tremendous strength, she was unable to recover.
Loving Mom to Tracy (Rick), Dale (Joanne). Proud Gramma to Aaron (Charlotte), Kaleigh (Kyle), Adam (Natasha), Paige (Zach), Jessie (Marcos). Great Gramma to Aidan and Ellie.
Mom lived an active and fabulous 85 years. Mom’s strength and fierce independence was admired by all who knew her. Mom’s big love was seen through her close relationships with all her grandkids, who loved her dearly. Mom was a proud long time resident of Rosedale, where she had many friends, both human and pets.
