It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Nolan of Marystown announces her passing. Betty passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 at the age of 75 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son, Brian (Valerie) Nolan of Garnish; daughter, Madonna (Dave) Gover of Marystown; son-in-law, Daryl Douglas of Burin; sister. Theresa (Ren) Pike of Marystown; sisters-in-law, Rhoda Mitchell of Nova Scotia, Elizabeth Power and Madonna Nolan both of Marystown; brothers-in-law, Walter Vaters of Nova Scotia and Don (Florence) Nolan of Mooring Cove; 10 grandchildren, Andrew (Davena) Hillier, Adam Hillier, Brittney Hillier, Jason Nolan, Terri (Evan) Power, Jeannie Nolan, Hannah Gover, Luke Gover, Wesley Douglas and Ryan Douglas; 5 great-grandchildren, Andrea, Bryanna, Cayden, Amelia and Penelope.
Predeceased by her loving husband John Pad Nolan; daughters, Carol Ann Nolan, Linda Douglas, Ruth Nolan and Jeannie Nolan; grandson, Daryl; great-grandson, Cameron; sisters, Mary Slaunwhite, Christina Vaters, Lydia King and Annie Tobin; and brothers, William Mitchell and Ignatius Mitchell.
Betty’s family would like to have an honourable mention to her homecare workers over the last few years for your love, care and support; especially Madonna Nolan.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on Friday, September 16th, 2022 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Marystown.
