Obituary
Betty Flewelling passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 in Lacombe, Alberta. She was born on April 18, 1931, in Clive. Betty was proud to have spent her entire life with George in the Lacombe area. Betty was the youngest of four girls. She met her young man from Lacombe at a New Year’s Eve dance at the Clive Hall, and started a life-long romance.
George and Betty married in 1952 and lived on the family farm east of Lacombe, raising three children; Craig (Doreen), Ann (Garry) and Ralph (Leeanne). Betty was predeceased by George at Christmas time in 2019. Betty is survived by her children, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. We would like to extend a thanks to the team at Royal Oak in Lacombe and the staff on Unit 33 in Red Deer Hospital. A private gathering will be held this summer for Betty and George; together again.
