Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital on Monday June 20th, 2022 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Carruthers. Loving mother of Allan Carruthers (Terry) and Nancy Arthur (Rick). Dear grandmother of Nicole (Kevin), Whitney (Calvin), Sarah (Andrew), Tyler (Madison), Amy (Jaimie) and Terry’s son Chris and great grandmother of Adeline, Owen, Connor, Benson, Leo and Wyatt. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Kathryn McHolm, Lois Leber (Karl), Lynda Brown and pre-deceased by Mary Halligan (Bruce), Ruth Wright (John), Muriel and her brother Roy McHolm. Elizabeth will be missed by her sist-in-law Doreen McHolm and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on Sunday July 10th from 1-4 pm. at Lake to Skyview Farm, 160 McLean Rd., Cobourg. If desired donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
