Obituary
The Lord, at His time, took to Himself our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, on Friday, October 14 2022 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Johannes “Hans” Mulder (2017). Treasured mother of Carl and his wife Amanda and of Paul and his wife Alinda. Loving grandmother of Janessa (Jordan), Kendall, Daniel, Julianne, Evan, Kyle, John and Erin. Great-grandmother of Dj, and Jaxon. She will also be missed by her sister in law Corrie Sollie and by her nephews and nieces (Mulders, vanBenthems and Havingas) all in The Netherlands.
Visitation at EBENEZER CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 607 Dynes Rd, Burlington on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at REHOBOTH CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 1225 Dundas St, Burlington, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. Rev. G. Ph. van Popta officiating. Interment at Garden Lane Cemetery, Flamborough. Reception to follow at Ebenezer Canadian Reformed Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Shalom Manor would be appreciated by the family.
We take comfort in the words of Romans 8: 28-30 the text she chose for her funeral service: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.”
