It is with deep sadness we announce the
passing of Eleanor Margaret Brown, age
76, of Joggins. Eleanor passed away at Highcrest Nursing Home in
Springhill on Monday, March 15, 2022.
Born in Joggins, she was a daughter of
the late Elwood and Margaret (Long) Murphy.
Eleanor enjoyed spending time at the
beach and knitting. She loved spending time with her friends and
family especially the ladies at the senior home and her
grandchildren.
Eleanor is survived by her sons Dale and
Jamie (Sonja) Brown both of Joggins; grandchildren Ashley (Kevin
Lepage) Brown of Amherst, Kyle (Cheryl Bourque) Brown of New
Brunswick, Tyson (Haley Gilroy) Taylor of Joggins, Kayla Brown of
Sackville, NB and Sonya Vance of Springhill; great grandchildren
Aubrey Lepage, Harper Brown, Haisley Brown, Jace Hepditch, Arwyn
Gilroy, Kyra Taylor, Jack Taylor and Zander Vance as well as many
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased
by husband Daniel and special friend Delmer Patriquin.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of Jones Family Funeral Centre,
Amherst, NS, (902 667 8777). A graveside service will take place at a
later date.
Donations in memory of Eleanor may be
made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
