DITTMAR, Eleanor Evelyn – passed away peacefully, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Friday, July 15th, 2022 at the age of 92 years.
Eleanor Dittmar (nee Woito) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Ray Dittmar, and by first marriage the late Melville (Dick) Briese. Predeceased by her parents Albert & Irene Woito (nee Petznick), brothers Leonard (late Evelyn) & Garnet (Verna) Woito. Survived and missed by her nephew Jamie (Jane) Lewis & niece Heather (Steve) Oszmian, and by her close friends and neighbors. Eleanor was a longtime employee and head cashier at the A&P grocery store and a member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church in Pembroke.
Respecting Eleanor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Service at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Timothy’s Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church are appreciated.
