Obituary for
Elaine Xenos
Elaine Xenos, cherished wife of 49 years, mom, baba and GG (great-grandma), passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 75 years.
Elaine is deeply missed by her husband, Tassi; daughter, Niki; son-in-law, Ron; granddaughters, Becki and Rylee; grandsons, Shawn (Beth), Ray and Chris (Tobi); and great-grandsons, Alex and Darren.
She loved to travel and will be missed by her family and friends in Smoky Lake, Edmonton and area, Yuma, AZ and all the other places she roamed with her beloved husband.
Mom was an amazing cook and infused every dish with love. Her culinary talents were legendary; from small family dinners to big events, she was always in the kitchen. She loved good food, creating artwork and laughing with friends and family. Nothing was more important to her than family.
Her art lives on in vibrant quilts cherished by many. She made every stitch with love; they were a reflection of the beauty that she never saw in herself, but which was obvious to anyone who knew her. She had one request, “If you have any of my quilts, please bring them to the Celebration of Life and display them as a reminder of the love that went into them.”
According with her wishes, her ashes will be spread in the places she loved the most. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2023.
2022
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Elaine
