The death of Elaine Ethel (Underhill) Morehouse of Main Street, Blackville, NB, occurred on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the age of 84. Born in Blackville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Beatrice Underhill. Elaine retired from the Blackville Metro where she worked as a clerk. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and loved quilting, embroidery and putting together puzzles, she was also an honorary member of the Blackville UCW.
Elaine is survived by: daughter: Valerie Copp of Sunny Corner, NB; son: Hal Morehouse (Janice) of Pineville, NB; grandchildren: Kristopher Jardine (Kyla), Andrew Jardine (Jillian), Catherine Coughlan (Jesse), Colton Morehouse (Kacey), Kyle Morehouse (Vanessa) and Cleve Morehouse; great grandchildren: Rowyn Jardine, Grayson Jardine, Kent Waye and Karter Morehouse; niece and nephews: Kim, Craig and Shawn.
Besides her parents, Elaine is predeceased by: father of her children: Harold Morehouse, sister: Jean Williston and son-in-law: Gary Copp.
The family will receive visitors at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11 AM with Father Gerry Laskey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
