Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday July 30, 2022 with her family at her side at the age of 104 years. Elaine Benkhe (nee Lafreniere) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Clarence Benkhe. Loved mother of Romaine Lehman (Frank). Loving nana to John, Paula and Vickie (Russell) and great grandmother to Zachary, Emily and Jack.
Dear sister of Earl and predeceased by sisters Aurore, Regina, Valera and brother Cecil. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Lance) Lfreniere.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Elaine with her family on Wednesday August 3, at the Murphy Funeral Home 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke from 2:00 p.m. until time of the Funeral Liturgy in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. followed by cremation. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery. In memory of Elaine donations to the Canadian Society would be appreciated.
