Elaine Ann Huha
Passed away peacefully on March 18, 2020 at 79 years of age. Adoring wife of the late Douglas (2016) for 58 wonderful years. Loving mother of Lori Votto and husband Paul, Cheryl Bancroft and husband Tom, and Ron Huha and wife Kris. Proud grandma of Valerie and husband Nick, Bridgette and husband Doug, Craig, Doug and fiancée Chantelle, Angela and great grandma of Alex and Britney. Dear sister in law of Bernice Huha and her late husband Vince and Emily Borland and husband Bill. Adoring niece of Barb Taylor. Predeceased by parents Roy and Jean Smith and brother Michael Smith. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, dear friends and especially her BFF Joanna Cudini.
Elaine was a lifetime parishioner of OLPH Church, a CWL member and was an active member of the parish choir which held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed the company of friends and family and lived for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thank you to the Saint Elizabeth Healthcare nurses and Chris from the WRH – Renal Program for your great care and compassion.
If you so desire, donations to the Kidney Foundation/Windsor & District Chapter and the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation to take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (804 Grand Marias Rd. E) on Saturday March 26, 2022 from 12 pm until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1 pm. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor.
