Ekaterini was born on October 1, 1951 in Xanthi, Greece. She died peacefully on July 14, 2022 at 70 years of age. Reunited with her beloved husband Anestis Iakovidis (2003) of 30 years. Cherished mother of Theodoros (Maria) and Frantzis (Christine). Treasured Yiayia of Ekaterini, Kristina, Anestis, Ekaterini, Alexandros and Anastasia. Dear sister of the late Efstathios Stavrakis (Ekaterini), late Freiderikh Stavrakis, Roxanne Tatalias (Giorgios) and Victoria Karasavvas (Evangelos). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visiting Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. with thrice holy hymn service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Monday July 18, 2022 at 10:15 a.m. leaving from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841 to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church for funeral at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
