Eileen Hale 19282022

M. Eileen Hale
1928-2022
A life well lived is a precious gift. Margaret
Eileen Hale of Fredericton passed away peacefully in her sleep on
Friday, April 29, 2022. Born at Blackville, NB on June 13, 1928, she
was the daughter of the late P. Earl and M. Hazel (Donahue) Burns. In
addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Adrian
(Abe) Edward Hale; a sister Evelyn and brothers LeRoy, Gerald, Basil
and Cyril.
Before her retirement, Eileen was employed at U.N.B. as a
Library Assistant for 21 years. She attended Mass faithfully
at St. Dunstan’s Parish, Fredericton. She and her late
husband Abe enjoyed travelling with the local trailer clubs. She loved
doing craft work especially with plastic canvas. She enjoyed knitting
and in her earlier years was well known for her sewing
skills.
Eileen leaves behind two daughters, Lynn Hale (Pierre Butz)
of Smithers BC and Patsy Hale (Alden Donovan) of Fredericton; also a
sister E. Priscilla (Pat) Cliver of U.S.A. as well as
several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
There will be no visitation by request of the family. A
private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family
has suggested donations be made to a favorite charity of the
donor’s choice.
