EDWARDS Alan Blair 2022

Alan Blair Edwards born June 8, 1943 in Salford England, a suburb of Manchester, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Oct 19, 2022.
Blair immigrated to Canada in March 1964 after having trained to be an engineer. He then learned the trade of Ironworking to become a lifelong member of Ironworkers Local 736 in Hamilton.
Blair was an avid gun enthusiast with an extensive knowledge of firearms. He also spent his spare time collecting and building train sets. Blair’s hobbies included but are not limited to cutting grass, monitoring windmills, comparing gas prices, chasing geese from the pond and nightly episodes of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Blair is survived by his wife Sheena (Sheenie Weeny) of 57 years, daughters Glynis (Darren Glenney), Erinne, Evonne (Greg Shaver) and son Innes.
Blair was extremely proud of his grandchildren Haydn, Hannahmay, Allyce, Ava, Landin and Archie.
Blair is also survived by his sister Marfyn (Alan Gunn), niece Vanessa (Fred) and nephew Bleddyn (Erin)
