It is with tremendous sadness that we say goodbye to our dearest brother Edward (Teddy) Power who passed on October 26th, 2022 at the age of 70.
Teddy was predeceased by his parents Ted and Clare Power (nee Fennessey) and sisters-in-law Margot Power (Kelland) and Gwen White.
Leaving to mourn his siblings: Allan, Peggy Connors (Wayne, children Jennifer, Heather and Mark), Paul, Gerry “Joe” (Carol Ann, children Maria and Ashley), Chris (Donna, children Christina and Kim), Craig (Kristine), Susan Tobin (Norm, children Anna, Lauren and Liam), Jim (Dianne, children Joel and Katie) and Gord (Donna, children Justin and Vanessa); as well as significant others, uncle Don and aunt Florence Power, aunt Corinne, cousins and many great nieces and nephews.
Teddy was dearly loved by all his siblings who have many fond memories of growing up together in a large family. He will be missed by many friends and business acquaintances he met along the way while employed in the family business, Allied Agencies. He travelled for Allied throughout Newfoundland regularly and knew every community well. He came to love English Harbour where he purchased a property that was home to many friends and family who visited often. We all have great memories of spending time with Teddy in English Harbour and enjoying the beautiful views from the cliffs there.
Teddy was a kind gentle soul who loved music and knew many genres, with a large collection of music over the years. He had a great stereo with Bose speakers that blasted music that kept us up the occasional night or two! He taught us a lot about all kinds of music and opened our ears to many different melodies.
He loved animals and had a dog and fish and even an exotic parrot!
We love you Teddy. And are so sorry you had to leave us. May you Rest In Peace. See you on the other side dear brother xoxox. You will be greatly missed ❤️
A huge thank you to all the nursing staff on 4 West and Dr. Diaz and his team at St. Clare’s Hospital. We appreciate all your caring, kindness and support for Teddy.
