1931-2022
The death of Edward Thomas Hamilton of Oakland, NB occurred on
Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the Upper River Valley Hospital,
Waterville. Edward was born June 8, 1931 in Peel, NB and was the son
of the late Jarvis and Mildred (Cullins) Hamilton. He was also
predeceased by his wife, Donna; 1 daughter, Brenda Dickson (Allison
Pike); great granddaughter, Alayah Foster; 1 brother, Frank Hamilton
(Christine).
Edward is survived by his 3 children, Florence Hamilton of Oakland,
NB, Flora Foster (Dewayne Sr.) of Chetwynd, BC and Murray Hamilton of
Alberta; special daughter in law, Rebecca Sheaves of North Hampton,
NB; 10 grandchildren, Joy Foster Lunn of Whitecourt, AB, April Grant
(Mark) of Canterbury, NB, Bobbie-Jo McLeod (Sean) of Woodstock, NB,
Amanda Dickinson (Trevor Fox) of Meductic, NB, Dewayne Foster Jr.
(Danielle) of Chetwynd, BC, Lindsay Scott (Andrew Bedard) of
Canterbury, NB, Forrest Dickinson (Amber) of Canterbury, NB, Nazarath
Foster of Chetwynd, BC, Christina Hamilton (Tristen Calhoun) of
Woodstock, NB and Jordan Hamilton (Allison Craig) of Bath, NB; 20
grandchildren, Alexa White, Brian Fox, Jorja White, Taylor Pawsey,
Parker White, Jackson Lunn, Phoebe Lunn, Tanika Pawsey, Fayth
Dickinson, Deacon Lunn, Willow Grant, Brooke Dickinson, Ava Craig,
Hope Dickinson, Mikey McLeod, DJ Foster, Thomas Craig, Sadie McLeod,
Jasper Brooks and Colby Calhoun; 2 great great grandchildren, Avery
and Ila Boone; 4 siblings, Ivan Hamilton (Faye) of Hartland, NB, Percy
Hamilton (Murial) of Richmond Corner, NB, Lorne Hamilton (Kaye) of St.
John, NB and Gloria Hamilton (Erlin) of Hartland, NB as well as many
nieces, nephews and extended family.
Respecting Edwards wishes there will be no formal services. The
interment will be in the Hunter Cemetery at a later date. Donations
made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the NB Lung Association
