Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the age of 69.
Beloved husband of Lisa (nee Prince) Kroetsch for 48 years.
Loving father of Angela Kroetsch (Dean Burgess), Andrew Kroetsch (Heather MacDonald), Megan Kroetsch (Kevin Stumpf), Jennifer MacIver (Ian).
Dear grandfather of Liam, Juliet, Theo and Simon.
Dear brother of Monsignor Murray Kroetsch and Bernie Kroetsch (Cindy).
Ed will be missed and remembered by his mother-in-law Elaine Prince (the late Lawrence) , sisters-in-law Karen Buchholtz (Wayne), Jayne Eulenberg as several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Lilian (nee Salvanechi) Kroetsch.
Ed’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 – 5:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Parish Prayers at 8:00 PM on Thursday evening.
The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener.
Interment Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener, followed by a reception at the Blessed Sacrament Church Hall.
In honour of Ed’s passion for kids and sports, and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
