In Loving Memory ~
Ed was born in a log cabin in Lintlaw Sask. Ed grew up in Perigord Sask. He moved to Victoria BC in 1949 and settled in Ladysmith in 1957. Ed and Marie married in 1967.
Ed is preceded in death by his daughter Florence, his parents Anthony and Tekla, and sisters Francise and Genieve.
Ed is survived by wife Marie, his sons Gary (Karen), and Paul (Heidi) and daughter Deborah (Alex Hollett), his grandchildren Amber, Jared, Mark, Jamie, and Brandon.
Great grand children Spencer, Reginald, Jordyn, Gerald, Bodhi, Holden, and Audra.
Ed worked as a longshoreman for 30 years. In retirement Ed was able to pursue his love of woodworking. Ed collected bottles and donated the proceeds to charity.
Ed dedicated endless hours of volunteering to the Ladysmith Healthcare Auxiliary Thrift Store.
At Ed’s requests there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favourite charity or one of Ed’s.
The Ladysmith Healthcare Auxiliary Memorial Garden, Life Line or Juvenile Diabetes.
