Obituary
Edward Paulsen passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 86 years. He will be remembered and sadly missed by his wife and the love of his life, Marit, son George, granddaughters Helena, Kelly, and Megan. Ed was sadly predeceased by his son Cory, brothers Carl (Hazel), Harold (Jean), Bill (Gloria), and Albert (Rose), as well as his father Kolbjorn, and mother Hulda. He will also be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, and friends at Ridgewood Lodge in Princeton.
While in his teens, Uncle Ed moved with his parents from Burnaby, BC to the orchard and home his father built in Cawston. He went on to graduate from Similkameen High School in Keremeos. Ed stayed with his mom and dad to help work and increase the size of the orchards. In earlier years they grew fruit for the fruit stands and packing houses. Later, they built HP Fruit Corral with good friends Ken and Marg Harker. With his wife Marit, they bought B&B Fruit Stand in Keremeos.
Ed and Marit sold the family home in Cawston and moved to a new home they built in Missezula Lake, just outside Princeton. Ed would visit Ridgewood Lodge twice a week and play piano for the residents while Marit would help at the Princeton Hospital Auxiliary.
The family would like to thank Ridgewood Lodge for their loving care of Uncle Ed. Private arrangements at this time.
