Edward Joseph McCarthy, long time resident of Peace River passed away in Edmonton on May 20, 2022 at the age of 77 years.
He was born on September 15, 1944 in St. Catharines, Ontario to parents, Wilfred and Marie (Blais).
Ed was a respected member of the Canadian Rangers and the Royal Canadian Legion.
He is predeceased by his parents and brother, Robert McCarthy.
Left behind to mourn are his wife, Theresa McCarthy; son, Ryan McCarthy; daughter, Shannon McCarthy; granddaughter, Teagan McCarthy; sister, Jeanette (John) Fisher.
A Memorial Service will be held from the Royal Canadian Legion in Grimshaw on Monday, May 30 at 11:00 AM.
